Diablo fans have developed a web browser port that allows users to play the original Diablo game on any internet-connected device.

While impressive, do yourself a favor and play with the quality mod "DevilutionX", or alternatively "Tchernobog", which is still getting updates.

Basically they iron out a lot of issues Diablo has due to its age and make it truly enjoyable.

I've been out of d1 for years. Is there a nice onboarding post to get up and running with something like tchernobog?

I would recommend DevilutionX for the moment, as Tchernobog is still rough around the edges and slightly harder to install (the first have some clear instructions and it's rather straightforward).

Still if you want to play it, there's a forum in Tchernobog's page and from what I've seen there some YouTube's guides are available.

I installed both using Lutris..
