I often wonder if any of the people who find their lives completely destroyed regret their misplaced allegiance? Do they even consider it possible that they made a mistake or do they see themselves as martyrs?
Depends if they have the capacity to be honest and admit mistakes.
So, no. Not so far as anyone has seen.
Life completely destroyed? A slap on the wrist and people all over the country giving her donations incoming
We will have to wait until October to see if she gets a slap on the wrist. Seeing how two others were given deals in exchange for testifying against her, I suspect that she will be serving some jail time, especially since she went online, immediately after her conviction, and posted her total lack of remorse for her actions.
As for the donations, she had a team of lawyers working on this for at least 2 years. Pretty sure they are the ones primarily benefiting from any donations. Mike Lindell commented, before he went broke, that he had donated upto $800,000 to her legal defense (though the entirety of that quote makes this claim a bit dubious). Plus a failed political campaign followed by funding a recount for her failed campaign. I get the impression that she has more debt than donations.
But maybe I am wrong. She might get away with probation and / or be rolling in donations and appearance fees. It would be very disappointing but it is a possibility.
