Careful interacting with FlyingSquid. I refused to be drawn into an argument with them and was banned from World News which they moderate.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 15 points 3 months ago (1 children)

You were banned from World News because of transphobic bigotry, as you know.

[–] Knock_Knock_Lemmy_In@lemmy.world 1 points 3 months ago (1 children)

No. You asked a deliberatly transphobic question, to define a REAL women (implying some women are not real). Then banned me because I refused to fall for your trick.

It is impossible to objectively mod your own arguments. You are Judge Judy and executioner.

This would be a lot more believable if you didn't make a post earlier today suggesting Biden is a pedophile and didn't have a bunch of deleted antivaxxer posts in the modlogs (and one suggesting the live broadcast of the moon landing was fake).

Whoops.

I thought the charge was being transphobic?

All the other examples listed are highlight faulty logic, not expressing an opinion.

Saying A does not imply B.

In our particular case, saying a governing body should clarifying it's classification rules to avoid future incidents does not imply hate towards any particular person or group of people.

Sorry, not going to argue with you about this right-wing shit again. Go find someone else to be bigoted around.

[–] Knock_Knock_Lemmy_In@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago (1 children)

You are being overly antagonistic and seem unreasonably attached to labeling me as right wing.

You post too often and inaccurately for conversations like this not to occur again. I've already corrected your posts twice today and further interactions could be mistaken for a grudge.

I don't like blocking people because I'm here to hear a variety of opinions, but it's probably better for everyone if I do so.

As a parting thought, I'll leave you with the definition of a bigot and let you reflect.

A person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic towards a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.

I've had good and bad interactions with them, so I just think "hey they are flawed (hopefully) human beings that have good days and bad days". Chances are if I treat them (or anyone) kindly, the interaction will be positive.

My goal online is to try and be a wholesome user, although that doesn't always happen. I usually delete my comments when I don't like how I acted with someone else as I want to remind myself to take a kinder approach to Lemmy. There's enough toxicity online.

I think "would Mr. Rodgers approve?"

I think a good policy is to avoid personal attacks. Focus on the subject and avoid swearing.
