Work Reform

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

It's funny how quickly opinions have (seemingly) changed regarding unions. For decades, both parties were pretty hostile to labor unions. Now, everyone wants to show how pro union they are. It's been quite the dramatic 180°.
I feel like at least one party gave lip service to unions at every major election for as long as I can remember?
Republicans always claim to work for the common man while also championing policies that hurt them.
Both sides do, but yes, the GoP does so with such frequency that it truly does require either true wealth or an undereducated mindset to vote for them. And its often as simple as convincing someone they are/almost are/ or can be, apart of the former. The amount of cash flow alone required for the GoP policies to benefit someone and justify their vote, long term, is obscene.
