If the law stays the same, he can’t serve more than two terms and this will be his second. Possible that if he gets in a second time, I doubt he cares if anyone votes again.

That is what I was hoping he is referring to. But if I’m completely honest, the “I will make myself King of Murica” approach sounds more realistic

He could do a Putin, where terms just switch with a subordinate, and he can extend it forever.

I would certainly not trust anything he says to eventually have a good purpose.
