The Tories are out, you'll see UK being significantly less wanky over the next 4-8 years.

We're back!

You could argue that actually our normal state of being is wanky and that the next 5-10 years are the anomaly.

I'm kind of hoping that the conservatives continue in their quest to basically become the republican party and will continue to lose votes from both sides. And given the way their party conferences are going and the way they're attacking each other and claiming that the reason they lost the election is because they weren't fascist enough, It's looking like a guarantee.

The Tories did lose because they weren't Fascist enough. Labour got less votes this year than they did in 2019. The Tories lost because enough of their voters defected to Reform

They also lost a lot of votes to the Lib Dems don't discount that. If they don't sit in the middle of politics then a lot of on the fence voters won't go for them.

I think that's exactly what the conservatives will do. Unfortunately I'm not optimistic enough to believe that this will prevent their being reelected. Didn't stop trump, after all.
