I’ve come to realize how much of my own mental health issues stem from being raised by a mother who dealt with sexism and misogyny her whole life. Her trauma directly affected my mental health. I’m a man. This is why feminism is good for everyone. Imagine if your mother never experienced sexism, abuse, misogyny, how much better it would be for everyone.

If women were paid equal to men and both were paid what they were worth rather than minimum wage or below then maybe people could work less and play more. Children could see their parents after school and before school, they could have dinner as a family. If even single parents could afford to raise a child without being broke and forced to work too many jobs for not enough money then children could grow up not being adultified to take care of their siblings.
