I does look weird. Maybe the wooden block is a counterweight to the axe head, and you use it by horizontally slamming it.

Every few months there is a similar such story about this ancient marvel of technology and the people remotely maintaining it against all odds.

I can imagine a headline 100 years from now:

"Engineers are modifying Voyager 1 decorative panel bolt into a functional interstellar communicator"

Never heard of it so I had to look

https://www.merriam-webster.com/wordplay/eighty-six-meaning-origin

Eighty-six is slang meaning "to throw out," "to get rid of," or "to refuse service to." It comes from 1930s soda-counter slang meaning that an item was sold out. There is varying anecdotal evidence about why the term eighty-six was used, but the most common theory is that it is rhyming slang for nix.

In 2005, two scientists, David Mazières and Eddie Kohler, wrote a paper titled Get me off Your Fucking Mailing List and submitted it to WMSCI 2005 (the 9th World Multiconference on Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics), in protest of the conference's notoriety for its spamming and lax standards for paper acceptance. The paper consisted essentially only of the sentence "Get me off your fucking mailing list" repeated many times, sometimes as illustrations or diagrams.

A really shitty movie with awesome 80s music. It's actually a series of music clips with bad link sections / puns.

Stovitz: This could be a very lustful, degenerative, dirty mission... and very dangerous. Allow me to volunteer!

I'm using the web UI, whenever I visit a thread the server "remember" it and mark it specially when new comments are added. Like this:

Is there a way to disable this behaviour, marking the whole thread as unread? Better if it can be done to a given post.

A promising description:

Welcome to a stunning and spacious property located in the serene and picturesque community of Ocklawaha, FL. This beautiful home boasts a remarkable curb appeal, thanks to its landscape, large front yard, and front porch

Would you dare to request a tour?

To be fair they do tell later in the description that an investor can just use the lot to park their mobile home.
