I was so weirded out when I found out that you can hear ALL of your "hey Google" recordings in these settings.
Yeah it's really weird. I'm having the exact same issues using the Thunder app.
It's an instance specific bug, affecting other clients as well. I'm not sure how fixable it is, all I know is that it's working fine on lemmy.ca
Do not underestimate the crazy work you've done with Connect. It is hands down the best client out there, and am incredibly grateful for it
