At least base your distaste on reality. The term was born on 4chan back when it had a mostly leftist penchant (around the time the OWS movement was going off). It has nothing to do with "right wing", that's just you putting political polarization on everything.

the expectation would be a better solution will surface in reference to streaming.. the same way streaming was a solution to cable.
What would that look like though? The current streaming model was pretty easy to predict ~15 years ago with the advent of online video streaming in general, especially mainstream forms of it such as YouTube. I have a hard time imagining how any other business model for distributing video content would look like, but then again I don't have a very entrepreneurial mind.

It is however about things like spatial awareness and pattern recognition, and some studies have demonstrated those traits to be, on average, stronger in male subjects. I'm sure evidence to the contrary exists though.

That's genius. I was always more of a screenshot-your-desktop-then-set-it-as-wallpaper-and-hide-taskbar-and-icons kinda guy but that one is so damn subtle it probably just leads to people thinking everything works normally except that it feels ever so slightly off, but they can't put their finger on it. I like it a lot.
Even though I'm very much an oldpeth person, I've come to love some of their newer songs. Ever since I heard Eternal Rains Will Come and Allting Tar Slut live I've been hooked on them.
Incredible track. Far and away my favourite band. It's incredible how they always manage to sound fresh. måsstaden under vatten is nearly 2 years old at this point and it still sounds so forward-thinking to me.

Sounds like k3s would be right up your alley, it's API compatible with k8s but has a lot less overhead than k8s, designed for use on low power devices like the Pi.
