If I'm not mistaken, Beeper is open source, and based on the Matrix protocol? https://github.com/beeper
I also own a Brother printer since I ragequit HP last year. While playing with the settings last week i manually checked the firmware and noticed a possible update. When searching online for the release notes, i found thread after thread of people wanting to revert the update because it blocked third party toners? I hope Brother doesn't go the HP way...
I tried a couple of times already, but always feel it's not quite ready yet.. Games not starting or running slower, etc. Running latest Ubuntu, Wayland and new PC with an RTX4060ti. What am I doing wrong?
I've bought the same doorbell 2 weeks ago, and I've slowly been integrating it into HA since then.
Got go2rtc working, and it's sending me notifications with a camera snapshot when somebody rings the doorbell. I've updated go2rtc to the latest version as well if that matters.
I also have a microphone icon in the camera/frigate view, and can hear audio, but even though i can toggle that microphone, no sound actually comes out of the doorbell.
I'm using a separate proxmox lxc container to run Frigate, HA is on a VM.
The accuracy is just insane!
What a cringe picture 🤮
I just bought a Samsung G9 Neo (5120x1440), and Ubuntu just worked resolution-wise. Had to switch the monitor to 120hz instead of 240 because otherwise Ubuntu would only allow 60. For the rest all is well. GTX1660Ti. I'm actively looking to upgrade that card now though, with an RTX4060Ti being the prime candidate. I wondered whether i should choose AMD instead, but the doubt was too much. 😅
What's the current technical plan to alleviate this? Some kind of multi-node setup behind wefwef.app? Less strict rate limiting by lemmy.world for your endpoint?
Why do Americans always need to see the same clip like 10 times on repeat in the same news item? In case you missed it the first 9 iterations?
