I have one and it's exquisite. My husband had originally proposed with a dull, heart-shaped blood-diamond that cost him about 10k. I think he could tell that I didn't like it, and told me it could be returned.

I felt bad for not liking the first, but worse about the thought of some poor lil kid digging it up in Africa. We found a synthetic diamond that is PERFECT and glitters like crazy. I'm extremely happy with my synthetic diamond ring. It's the prettiest piece of jewelry that I've ever owned. Highly recommended

This is going to sound insane, but I can't get rid of Medi-cal. I did need it during covid because my insurance was tied to work and I was living with some elderly folk. I kept it when I moved in with my (then) boyfriend because I was in an area where I struggled to find a job. But then we got married, and I have been on his insurance for more than a year. I've called (even spoken to a few people), and I've written letters, but they just keep renewing it. Most recently I tried calling again but I gave up after waiting for an hour.

I couldn't even use it if it wanted to because my name is different now, but the fact that I can't communicate with them to let them know that I don't need it is frustrating

And that made me wonder. I can't get through to them to tell them that I don't need it, right? How the hell does someone who DOES need it get through to get some help?

In "3rd world" African countries, kids are still often used for labor so it's beneficial for families to have more children. I believe India has taken over China's place as the most populated area. There are also countries like Aghanistan, with rulers who have banned birthcontrol - although given the exodus when the U.S. bailed, I don't know where they stand growth-wise rn

My guess is that they have the means (funds, paid time off) to travel out of state, if needed.

I'm not trans, but I wholeheartedly agree with you. As living beings we deserve autonomy, which includes the right to make choices that we may later regret. It isn't up to anyone else but the individual to decide what's right for them. It's no-one else's business (especially the government)

I'm not sure that it's true that she is "fine with white supremacy" but you're right that she is likely trying to appeal to those that are.

Based on what little I know about her, (like most politicians) she wants to win, and will say whatever the "correct" words are to get the most pepple vote for her. She's also trying to win over trumpers, and she knows to dance around certain topics to do that. Problem for her is she is starting to come across as spineless in the media, which is the opposite of how (I think) trumpers see their Orange-Supreme-Leader

But yeah, she also gives off a vibe of being more rational and moderate which is what makes her a credible threat to Biden. (So I'm glad that she's fucking things up for herself, and if she can continue to put her foot in her mouth that's a plus)

I tried dried cheese-flavored crickets once. 0/10; the legs got stuck in my molars. Also, tastes like straw

Understandable. Not knocking it down. I wonder if the pallid, closed-eye look was intentional, tho

That was weirdly worded. What I mean is: was the ambiguity intentional or did the artist have a clear vision: Is she asleep, or is she dead?

(And maybe that's part of what makes it an interesting work of art)
