Has anyone tried to use the hunger dice mechanics with v20 or earlier?

The easiest Traveller version is definitely the one from Mongoose.

Also, you should check out Seth Skorkowsky’s overview videos:

It's already made in JS (but without a canvas).

So, OP: I guess it's already Free and it's already Open Source. Just save the HTML page somewhere.

From your last sentence, perhaps a few of Seth Skorkowsky’s videos fit the bill:

But then I have to ask: What do you think is a better player? How does your table work? What kind of games does your group prefer? What do you all appreciate the most from the game?

Some groups are delighted when everyone has a great backstory, while others yawn at it. Some groups enjoy voice acting while some of us don’t bother as long as you stay in character when needed. Some like full immersion and others mostly like to hang around with friends. Some like the sandbox while others wish for a carefully thought out plot. Some like hack n’ slash and others prefer political intrigue and social interactions.

How do you describe a fun, a great session?

One of these days, I'll buy Paranoia. I've heard about it and it sounds like something I'll enjoy. It's already on my wishlist.

Today, however, I realized I had the Red Clearance Edition wishlisted, but not the Core Book. And with that realization, comes the admission that I have no clue what's what.

So... does anyone here know the difference?

Sure, Red Clearance says we'd be Troubleshooters, but I don't know what that means. Would I still need the Core Book? Or is it just another flavour?

And here I was thinking that no Traveller/Cepheus players had made it to the Fediverse..!

Yeah, there's probably not an easy way to link to the full list of communities over at ttrpg.network and have them displayed properly regardless of each user's preferred instance.

Then again, I'm new to this. Perhaps @ada@lemmy.blahaj.zone knows a better way.
