100% agree. OP's safety comes first and foremost!

It will likely scare them the first time as it's new/unfamiliar, but they'll begin to normalize it with repeated events (as long as there is no physical/situational aggressiveness toward them). Once they acclimate to the singing, they might still get a small jump scare if you begin abruptly belting out something, but as you continue the song they would likely relax back down recognizing it as not a danger. I find most pets will try to hide/runaway when they don't like a sound, so indifference from a pet is akin to general acceptance of your presence imo.

Here's wishing you a wonderful performance!

I think it's in reference to how bi people are often told they are being "greedy" for wanting all/both sexes rather than just having the '"one" the speaker expects. This usually then leads to the misguided conclusion that they are promiscuous and unfaithful - https://lgbtqiacounseling.com/bisexual/bisexual-stereotypes/#Bisexuals_are_Greedy_or_Unable_to_Commit

Maybe the FBI would be a better contact in this case? I may be wrong, but to me the brothers explicit words of intention and access to guns seems very much like a threat of premeditated domestic terrorism. If that's indeed the case, here's the FBI's page with contact options near the bottom.

I'm so sorry you're having to deal/live with this OP. You deserve much better. This internet stranger is proud of you for doing all that's within your power in such a shitty situation!

What about those in prison who are chronically ill or people who caught something while being stuck in there? Surely they would have it far worse than those ill people in a regular hospital who, technically, can refuse treatment, leave, and even go elsewhere for treatment. That's not considering the support structures that people in prison are given/allowed, vs support structures generally present in a hospital setting.

Your feelings of being trapped are valid. The frustrations of a less than ideal physical existence are heard. Being ill in any location truly sucks. But depending on the location, you may have more or less freedom and opportunities available to you.

They don't care about the homeless so they don't care that those poor people will still be homeless somewhere else. The rich just no longer have to see the unhoused -out of sight out of mind- as they say. Then since they're now out of mind, they don't have to fix or offer viable solutions for homelessness. The rich hope those poor people die as they're deemed morally terrible people who are there directly because of their own failings. Plus it makes more slave labor available for today's private prisons across the nation.
