Happy Saturday all... I'm off to bed

Yeah this is what I'm thinking.

File storage, jellyfin and migrating a few docker applications to it from the random raspberry pis I've got laying around.

Similarly 'Slow Children' seems a bit insulting in this day and age.

RIP microservers. Mine is still hanging on... just.

In the same boat, I think I got mine originally for ~$300. The current versions are ~$2K!!!

Am thinking of moving to an 8 bay synology NAS to replace it when it gives up the ghost. Agree with you re the price of NAS. Not a lot going on inside them, no idea why they have to be so expensive.

First.

Why is it cold again?!?

I was hoping he was going to measure the claimed temperature accuracy, since a big part of it was the ability to switch it on and make an espresso straight away.

The stated hope was that this technology would be able to trickle down, but he also provided examples of extremely cheap machines that could already do the same thing (but that produce shitty coffee) so I'm assuming the technology he's hoping trickles down is the ability to quickly and accurately heat water?

Well that's friggin adorable.

An efficient use of their time. I can see why the governing party would want to prevent the use of the term "lies" though.

Haven't had to deal with them recently but their website says a 5 business day average processing time or you can pay an extra $32 to have them turn it around in 2 days.

Last time we were over there we stayed at the Bellagio in Vegas. One guy took our suitcases from the reception desk (and expected a tip), but a different guy was the one who brought them to our room... he also expected a tip.

Apparently Regurgitator (the band) is still around and playing shows.

Who's your favourite Bris-band?
