How did it not go well? The article just details how people are defending his record and beliefs but shows no repercussions nor is it "not going well" for his defenders. He is second in line for the presidency with insane beliefs and theocratic tendencies. Sure seems to be going just fine for him, unfortunately for us.

It also doesn't happen. Because guns are so good at killing so easily. They should all be banned.

But if you read the article you'd have seen that prewashing to remove starch makes no difference. That's literally the point of this article.

"Culinary experts claim pre-washing rice reduces the amount of starch coming from the rice grains. ... Contrary to what chefs will tell you, this study showed the washing process had no effect on the stickiness (or hardness) of the rice."

And traditionally it was washed for cleanliness. The new wash to remove starch is a modern concept some people clearly started to say to sound smart with no evidence or science and it took off. Read the article

Meh, Vortex works just fine for most things. Some games require manually installing extenders or other utilities but so do the other mod managers. Plus other mod managers are often game specific whereas Vortex is one for many. I don't know, just my opinion but Vortex works fine for my use cases. Skyrim, GTA, Starfield, Cyberpunk, Baldur's Gate 3, Jedi Survivor, etc

Luckily it looks like that crust needs at least a few more minutes cooking so that'll kill any bacteria
