Hola, so last year I made a start on a bot to create scheduled posts for races, but only got so far as to have it work for la Vuelta. I intended to work on it over the winter but, yep you guessed, I didn't get around to it.

Posting the code here in case others want to chip in to get this more up and running.

It still runs on a VPS I have every night at midnight UTC, so at the lack of a better solution we can version updates and I can pull whatever version there.

We need some sort of bot... in c/procycling@lemmy.world

Ah nice, thanks, I'll have a gander through those. Yeah I was thinking just to get a bot up and running to simply posts threads to begin with, then I can look to integrate with calenders, post stats etc.

I can have a pop at this if you're short on time. That sounds like a sensible place to start with post quantity.
