I’m out if the loop. Can someone explain?

Thank you for your insight! I am getting closer!

I just wanted to recreate the device my dad made with me as a kid

Are we complaining about memes now? Lol

How do you mean?

[–] lossykittens@reddthat.com 1 points 1 year ago

I appreciate it, I didn’t realize it was so temporary

Apologies for not being clearer. What I mean to describe is a magnetizer - something that you might put a metal tool through to make it magnetic

That’s correct!

Sorry, that’s a whole other level;)

I hope someone will chime in who’s more knowledgeable but, yeah, it looks like an earthworm to me. Just…longer? Not a sewage worm, by chance?

This site may help you match it: https://www.trees.com/gardening-and-landscaping/types-of-earthworms

Hi all, I have a water pump connected to an adapter (pictured) but I am having trouble getting it to run using any of the cords I had on hand; it calls for using DC-only & 12V (between 9-14). I have tried Googling around & browsing Amazon but I'm a bit overwhelmed with options. Can anyone suggest an adapter that'll get this little guy pumping? Please forgive my naivety & TIA.

Also, I hope that it's kosher I ask here. If it's not, please let me know if there's a better place. Thanks again.

Hi, first, I am loving Avelon! Keep up the great work? Thank you.

A bug I noticed is that I don’t seem able to post to Avelon from the Avelon app itself. I went so far as to create a lemm.ee profile before realizing that wasn’t necessary. Haha. Anyone else experience this? Posting this from Voyager.

A feature that I’d love to see is more of a tweak; in the account switcher, it’d be nice if it displayed the instance after the username so that they are easier to distinguish between.
