My landlords wife yelled at the plumber for sealing our bathroom wall back up when the shower spigot was still leaking, and then her husband comes in and says "honey stop we don't need to pay to fix the valve if we don't have to". So my shower still leaks and they really fixed nothing because they didn't want to spend $1000 (less than half our rent) to redo the shower.

Now I get why pork is so popular in Iowa.

Image AIs are terrible for text, it's like they're dreaming about letter shaped objects. Once out of hundreds of times I was able to get it to do a picture of a shop where the sign actually said Grocery.

One thing I have noticed though is how many websites have said to heck with responsive multi column layouts in favor of just a single column layouts that looks good (and the same) on both desktop and mobile. So basically the 90s layout with better CSS.

Because I'm an admin of multiple Azure tenants so I have the main one logged in on Firefox and the other one on Waterfox.

Maybe but they'd probably just sunset the project anyway and in ten years it will look more like a stain on my resume than a badge. Plus traffic on Willow Road is a no for me dawg.

Go for it, anything for the right to be taken less seriously than the left is a win.

Was using Chrome as my main browser and FF as my second browser last week. Uninstalled Chrome, made Firefox my main browser and Waterfox as my second browser. Forget Chrome and forget Edge!

What does JIT really mean though in the context of consumer goods? There's plenty of stores stocked full of stuff that will be on the shelves until the food expires. Sure some stuff like TP got wiped out but nobody was buying the random brand of wild rice I like. Does that mean we should have more regional stores of specific items that move quickly instead of trucking it all from Bentonville?

I mean that IS the point of don't tread on me.

Isn't that supposedly the plan?
