Anyone have any predictions whats going to happen after all votes are in and a winner is declared? I'd say violent protests are all but a guarantee with either candidate winning.

State and federal authorities are investigating a deliberately set fire that destroyed ballots inside a drop box in southwest Washington on Monday morning.

Most teachers are aware how bad smartphones are, at least from the surveys I've seen. They're more skeptical of them than parents or children. I think this case is kind of an outlier.

Vote early if you can, never know if you'll come down with the flu next week.

I probably wouldn't trust airplane mode, but I do believe power off is safe. There is no transmit capability in off correct?

But yeah, leaving phone at home is best knowing tracking sites like these exist.

Or just hit airplane mode / power off. Or just leave the phone at home, the procedure takes only 5-10 minutes.

People are way to attached to their phones. The world will not collapse in that hour, it is a survivable event, or so I hear from reputable sources.

One can appreciate the sentiment of the quote to value every minute while you have it, but under a more optimistic lens, the quote is not always true. I was 10x unhealthier 20 years ago than today, and I would give anything to never be there again. We all walk a different path.

Well I'd argue there is a danger to that. If only the most extreme things get media attention, then all his ideas will get more radical so that he gets the coverage he needs to politically survive. He is the absolute number version (mathematic function) of the political world.

I am kinda seeing a parallel to how Nazis came to murder millions of their own people - essentially a continuing evolution of crazy ideas to maintain political popularity. It's insane that it works.

Stories that talk about all the bad things Trump has done are only seen by the left. This makes the left hate Trump and his supporters more, while the right feels increasingly "oppressed" by this hate. They run to their savior Trump and the viscous cycle continues. More media presence for him only adds to his influence, negative press possibly moreso than positive.

People on the left should ignore Trump and talk about real issues. It is the only way to defeat a sith.

Yes! Donald Trump is the mathematic equivalent of the absolute symbol. example: |-99| + |-594| = 693

A negative story is coverage, makes the left talk about him which riles up the right to fight back and vote because they feel oppressed. The right doesn't live in reality, so as long as they know Trump is being talked about that makes him their guy.

I realized this very quickly in 2017 that people were falling for the trap. I have no idea why anyone upvotes anything with Trump in it.

You never know if you might come down with the flu or have a family emergency on Nov5. Don't take the chance if you can avoid it and vote in person early!

I think most people would lean towards AOC since there seems to be lack of competition in the area of charisma and not-being-old categories.

Who do you think could be the next "Bernie Sanders" that could possibly run for president in 2028/2032? A lot can happen over the next 4 years, so 2028 there could still be a chance for a progressive president.

Men aged 35-64 are Trump's leading demographic. Republicans control nearly 100% of talk radio.

This is probably a bad idea, but I'll give it a whirl.
