From what I read bad planning, economic crisis and earth quakes.
To me, it's more crazy that some people actually do live in this cities, according to this article.
I was super glad to learn that "The Expanse" was adapted from a book series.
I love the show and it's concept of hard sci-fi. The book (I have only read "Leviathan Wakes" but have the second book lying around here) is just as good and I definitely recommend both.
Several months ago I finished Dan Simmons "Hyperion" it's such an amazing book. It got everything I want from a good sci-fi story!
Can't wait to read the other parts.

Wenn du also davon sprichst, dass das Thema nicht kritisch behandelt wird, kann ich das nicht ganz nachvollziehen.
Naive question: How is the political situation between all these African countries? Are they "good enough friends" to make this work on from a political point of view?
