Buddha has no need for mouse, keyboard, or cpu. Nor even power or data cables for his monitor. He's just looking at a black screen.

😂

if Lisa MacLeod votes against the PCs while part of the PC caucus, I'll eat lemmy.ca.

MP and MPP independence from the parties is theatrical only. The parties own their future and they know better than to stand against them.

my MPP is Lisa MacLoud. Emailing her would be useless. The current PC wouldn't listen to her since she repeatedly embarrassed them as a minister during the previous term.

A Place to Stand...A Place to Grow...Ontari-ari-ario-ooo

We already have a song.

I am fond of TWOTEF but it's not much about Ontario

Having a credit rating on the imaginary debt of the US is ridiculous.

The federal govt doesn't borrow US dollars - it creates US dollars.

It's impossible to default.

Canada's not as enthusiastic about that military spending because little of that money goes to Canadian companies. Even for things like shipbuilding, the rules are unfavorable to Canadian industry and a lot of the industrial benefits go to US companies. Canada tried to negotiate industrial benefits on the F-35 program, but it didn't go well, and Canada entirely withdrew for many years.

A GOP Senator is just a mouthpiece for US industry, they just want more Canadian spend, they don't GAF about actual defense of Canada.

rockwool is going to bleed dust into your equipment. Go with accoustic foam panels, they are cheap even if you need to use some double sided tape.

It's going to be a challenge to soundproof without blocking off a lot of airflow.
