@Auzy If something causing immense distress to someone that requires a surgery to address the overall mental well-being, should be covered by medicare or the government. Trans or no trans this is to improve someone's mental health and should not be count as beauty surgery, there is a big difference. Even at my home country IRAN part of the expenses are covered by government for trans people and this is just embarrassing for western countries.

@xilliah @Beaver Well when she was being accused of transphobia at the beginning, she said she has trans woman friends. But I am sure she was lying.

@ech @Pilferjinx Well she never actually believed Trans woman are woman even though she said that she supports us. All started to come out when a Terf got fired for discriminating against Trans colleague and Jo raised her voice in support of the Terf. She basically sounded like a white cishet misogynist man. And from there she is just on revenge path and she doesn't care who she hurts (kids included). Even if she finds a common ground, there is absolutely nothing she can do to compensate for the damage she has done.

@Beaver Conservatives have mentioned they rather they child commit #suicide than be a trans person. So he made it his mission to drive more trans youth into #suicide. Same as Rowling.

@WatDabney @Beaver With that logic I can also say there is no need to specify someone's sex on a birth certificate since it's just that. A certificate to show that you were born on the day and that is it.

@pingveno @Beaver It depends, there are few surgeries that are being categorized as gender affirming surgery. Some of these surgeries already being performed on cis gendered youth but the same surgery on a Trans youth makes everyone go crazy. Most gender affirming surgeries are not performed on youth and are uncommon. However sometimes there are very extreme cases when there is a life threat to the youth patient and that is why we insist on leaving gender affirming care to professionals, the individual and their parents and Politicians should never make decisions on medical care since they are not experts.

@ApathyTree @Beaver Doesn't matter if you are trans or not. All women are under attack, this is not just about trans people. We were an easy target to start with but everyone who is not a cishet white male conservative is a target.

@darth_tiktaalik Unfortunately, not much will change. People cherry pick their scientific facts like they cherry pick their bible verses.

@A_Toasty_Strudel @gAlienLifeform recent study shows that only %1 percent of trans youth detransition and not all of them are detransitioning because they made a mistake. Even between these people who detransition, they are still happy that they got to try and transition. There are lots of studies backing up starting transition early. If I was able to I would have started before going through the wrong puberty and the changes puberty makes are irreversible. Being a trans is not a mental health, they treated it as mental health and didn't help at all. Why so much stigma around transitioning when the satisfaction for this treatment is one of the highest in any kind of medical procedure?

@AncientFutureNow I hear you. I'm exhausted with the amount of hate exist in the entire world. I keep telling myself there are good people out there and I know that is true but it just feels that they have been buried in a pile of hate. I am so close to be done with all humanity and myself.
