So, at the start of the year my regular GP said that I "probably have chronic fatigue" and that it's likely due to my depression. But lately my depression has been okay (anxiety, okay maybe not so much but I've been under far better control all things considered). And yet the feeling has come back of being super tired, headache, with pain at the back of my neck/top of my spine.

Anyway, found someone locally who specialises in chronic fatigue. He's away on holidays as of today though, so it'll be a while before I even set up a chat with him. Still, I'm hoping maybe it can lead to a bit more than a vague diagnosis with no real plan.

I read the first part as "wedding" and thought holy fuck, what kind of wedding would result in the follow up statement. Then I read "weeding" and realised that both statements aren't connected. But if they were, holy fuck, what kind of weeding would result in the follow up statement!?

The advice you received though... that's gold, right there.

You just gotta do what you can do (he says knowing that he's taking a mental health day tomorrow following my psych session in the morning). Here's hoping you're able to get some rest and recovery in over the next couple of days.

I told Spotify to make a radio out of "Fader" by The Temper Trap and having a bit of a nostalgia hit thanks largely to a bunch of music that would have been on the radio when I used to work retail. Hearing Evermore's "It's Too Late" in particular was a pleasant surprise.

They should be allowed to drive them, but pay a price for them. Tax the absolute shit out them and don't allow it to be a taxable right off for "business purposes". But then I also say that should go for all four wheel drivers. 30 years ago the only people who had anything bigger than a station wagon were people that actually used them for recreational use. The argument of "it's safer for me to drive them" is the same argument people use when the gun debate is used - it's only safer because everyone else has one is not a valid argument.

People don't need four wheel drives - they have them because it's convenient. If you want that convenience then you should have to pay for it.

I wonder if it's worth a few of us dropping into the DT to say where the real convo's at. But I also don't want all the Reddit drama to end up here so...
