I've honestly found meat in the middle of food I was told to not contain meat and whenever I criticize when something like this happens I get a weird look at me like 'just eat it?', sigh.. shaming someone for having boundaries on what they eat vs shaming someone for their beliefs vs shaming someone for their identity.. either of the three is just as offensive but the first will get people to question, it isn't okay to force into other people but it should be okay to have boundaries on what you eat. It's not really a recurrent situation that happens with me but still frustating.

I dont get it either but if it gets some people to get into veganism, I guess it is what it is.. some people just cant go without the taste of meat (maybe people who has been carnivore for decades? I see more young people becoming vegan than the opposite but my experience could just be social bubble and I'm likely biased)
