If you go to Monero's X account they only share their Telegram group and website. The group is quite active.

I see more engagement in r/Monero or X. Nostr and this instance on the other hand feels quiet. I'm not a Matrix user so I don't know there.
It is one of the things I dislike the most of Nostr and Stacker News, how mentioning Monero triggers this anti-shitcoin mindset to Bitcoiners.
There was some dev mentioning about some tech called Topaz to allow zapping with XMR but no news since then.
I don't think Telegram users are the kind to use decentralized solutions, they will rather use some proxy. I think it is still important for Monero community still being active on Telegram for more exposure.
This is one of the best use cases of Monero.
I can't believe his justification is making dark web using Lighting.

Nostr users are going to hate more Monero if they try to take over, so why not fork it and make it compatible with the current Nostr?
I disagree it replaced it, people still use X.
Then avoid X, Reddit or Discord. You need to be in different channels to teach and trade with people about Monero.
UX wise better have a tip button for each comment, profile fields is a good idea too.
