I really have only ever used either of them as a DLNA server, but I was recently forced into Jellyfin and find that I like it much better than Plex. It's faster and more reliable on my system, and for my stripped-down needs, it's a perfect fit. I'd say that if Jellyfin is doing the job you need, you've got absolutely no reason to switch.

In the US, at least, you have a significant portion of the population with a puritanical bent. To top it off, they're extremely vocal, political, and organized.
Right or wrong, advertisers are terrified of angering these people.
The Fairness Doctrine only ever existed due to the way the broadcast airwaves were divvied up. It had no bearing on cable's CNN, etc.

I'm completely addicted (I'm in season 90 or so); it's my go-to when I've just got a few minutes for a game. I think it's one of the best games on mobile.
I've been bitten a few times by dogs and most of those bites were from Chows. I despise and have learned to keep my distance from that breed. The blacker the tongue, the blacker the heart.
