I've used 1password for more years I can count on my hands, and am satisfied with it. I share vaults with family members which is extremely handy with my aging parents.

I haven't really tried much else. I see no reason to switch.

Can confirm this.

I'm seeing this kind of thing on an ever increasing number of sites in Germany. It's especially galling on sites I already pay a subscription fee for! Isn't that enough? Now I'm supposed to pay another monthly subscription to avoid tracking cookies?

I've already cancelled one news website due to this, letting them know why (they're small enough that I know they read it, since it was part of a conversation). Fat lot of good it'll do, but ....

I finally decided I should complain about the almost weekly, and getting worse, networking issues (a reboot fixes it, though nothing else will). After talking to Google, they suggested I send the device in for repairs. "Uh.. ok. How many spare phones do YOU have?" "Let me see if there's an alternative".

So they sent me a replacement, putting a hold on my card so I send back mine. Sure. I can live with that.

New (refurbished, I'm pretty sure) phone arrived today. Spent the day reinstalling everything. The bank apps are the worst...

A little while ago, while watching a movie at home, I noticed the phone was constantly (like every few minutes) rebooting. Sigh.

Guess I'll be calling Google again tomorrow. What a pain.

This already exists. There's a banana (in Vietnam, but I'd assume not just there) that's smallish and rounder than most others which has a distinctly sour taste that reminds me strongly of apple. Ymmv, taste being a very subjective thing.

I don't suppose boost could add a "migrate to another instance" feature? 😅 Given that Lemmy is decentralized, and account migration is a thing and up to users, having support in the app would be really cool. Or maybe it's already there and I just don't know about it?

Cheers!
