The Pro model has the faster speeds while the regular model doesn’t.

I agree about the iPhones wearing well. Folks in my family pass down their iPhones too, but the ones with Android phones don’t seem to last. The lose support so quickly it’s not even funny.

But why tho? They are going out of their way to make the data transfer slower just to artificially weaken the offering so the Pro looks better. It is anti-consumer and malicious.

We need nuclear power stations all along the coast converting sea water into fresh water.

Farscape (tv show) is a great example of this. Sabacians are basically human cousins that developed outside earth and are nearly identical in appearance and even genetically compatible to humans. They are also one of the most dominant races of the universe and often the antagonists on that show. I loved Farscape.

I feel you on many of those topics. I was rolling my eyes through much of that series.

I’m leftist, but not whatever hexbear or lemmygrad is. Have fun viewing the tanky comments. I sure did. To really get the full experience, express support for anything supported by western governments . You’ll get tons of long comments.

Make an account on hexbear and then view the propaganda. Then come back and realize you are protected from that on Lemmy.world.

You can run Baldurs Gate 3 on Linux. Planetside 2 works, Warframe does too, Valheim has a native Linux build, Photoshop runs in Linux using Wine, there are projects showing how to get Solidworks running in Wine.

I don’t know what Squad is and as for VR, I see instructions for SteamVR but I don’t know if that runs well or not.

They don’t? They do where I live. Property tax is real in Michigan.

Many use cases are an example of using it as a solution when there isn’t a problem. I feel like people use it to replace human beings and it fails at that, when in reality it just is a tool to speed up those very human beings.

All that said, it’s better to have them then to not have them. What would be the point of removing them? It’s just another possible data point.
