sorry, I don't log into my .world account often. I used a script that was floating around during the original drama. I'm not sure if it's still possible to effectively delete all your data now.

They've been in school for like a week, not a great start

Looks like a fun time. With one other guest I bet you can lower the O'Day mast to get through the bridge (while on the water) I you really want to sail it!

Forecast had it miserably hot, but turned out to be decent. Way nicer than I was expecting.

O'Day 23-2 rafted up to a 32' Benateu, and another O'Day (272LE).

I'm not home ATM, but it seems the Life360 integration is not working. I tried rebooting HA but no joy.

Just wondering if it's me or more wide spread

What are you using to track/control the screentime?

[–] dmtalon@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

I do, and YouTube is my primary Media consumption for both video and music.

That said, I have the family plan which went from $15-23 back a few months ago and it was difficult to keep. I actually cancelled it and used Spotify and some of the available ad-blocking apps, but ultimately didn't like Spotify, so I came back.

If it were to go up again anytime remotely soon I'd be gone.

Stolen from Lemmy world news (not sure how to x-post

One of the interesting things I discovered after doing a few overnight passages is just how fast the moon moves across the sky as well as how bright it is when there's no other light!

Delayed reply :). But I'd think a lot. I also imagine putting it on the trailer would be difficult!

Sounds fun! While I grew up with my dad owning a sailboat (2 different ones 22 and 25') my wife had no idea how to sail.

We took a week long liveaboard ASA (101,103,104). While she definitely learned a lot, it was on a 43' boat. Even though I can sail it was weird not having the immediate feel of the wind like I always had on smaller boats.

But it was a fantastic week, and we were mentally ready to sell everything and move onto a sailboat :)

Had an account since about 2010, looks like I stopped using it around 2016. Just logged in to see what if anything was left. A few notes, nothing important.

Tried closing my account instead of just leaving it hanging out there and it fails. Guess I'll try later

Ya, pretty wild setup for sure...

I'm trying to support the change. I joined 6/11, I stopped visiting the other site the same time.

I created a community that didn't exist yet here (in the fediverse) and am trying to post /comment more then I would normally. I wasn't a lurker over there but I am more engaged here.

Long live the new(ish) fediverse :)

Edit: I also removed my content and deleted my 12yo account on 7/1

There are zero "principles" involved in that sign. It's one ass trying to piss off other asses.

Just out here on vacation and drove past this thing... Never seen anything like it.

Folding trimaran.

Not the best wind, but it was sailing none the less. Sailed about 10 miles averaging 4kts

We had 6 boats for the raft-up/hangout, then 4 off us stayed overnight. The next morning I cooked my breakfast for the first time after finding a "period correct" alcohol stove over the winter!

After I cleaned everything up, I detached from the raft-up, and did some poleless/preventerless wing on wing (which is far too much work!) down to the main section of the lake where it was wider, then sailed down and back getting about 12 miles in for the day!
