It's a (probably butchered) quote from the movie Luca, about a sea monster
There's a queer anarchist bookstore in Asheville NC that's amazing for community. I'm not sure if they routinely field calls like that, but I know they're a space for community members to gather, to comfort one another, and to be a space when space is what's needed. Called Firestorm. They're really amazing .
Aren't remans an unrelated species native to the planet(s) that the romulans colonized after being forced off Vulcan?
Educate the laymen, what's the bottom right image?
As much dead whale as you can eat! Can't really help it. The mouth opened, the whale carcass go in
I love how street dentist is a blue link.
Guerilla Gorilla, guerilla Gorilla not for sale
It's not an image of bad things or bad people, it's an image of thinks that fucking suck. Being secretly gay, as in, unable to come out. Not being allowed to dress how you want it get an education. Having a debilitating illness. Having such a shitty home life because of bullshit gender roles that you require drugs just to get through the day. No repercussions for sexual assault and a continuing cycle of sexual abuse. All shitty things.
You're the one being a piece of shit, friend. You're attacking people who are disagreeing with you, and refusing to even consider that they may have a different perspective. When the entire world is telling you one thing, you may not believe it, but you should at least consider that your perspective and theirs may be different, and consider whether they're right.
Also, inb4 accusations. I am a gay man, and the only issue I see with this image is it's stunning lack of people of color worried they'll be lynched.
Eta, checked acct history. Not worth discussing anything with. Actively hostile in nearly every comment. Just ignore and block the asshole pretending to care about progressive issues. Bad faith actor likely out to cause disagreement and leave a bad taste in people's mouths.
Damn, I had "Frank" instead of fair. Not enough people use frank D:
Jay Leno floats face down, apparently
I have a print of this on wood. My mom got it from her mom. We've had it my whole life. I've moved 22 times. I've lost almost everything I've ever owned at least twice. Very few possessions make it through that many moves. But we've kept this picture the whole time. It always hangs in the kitchen, except for this time around when it hands above my bed in the living room.
The only other things we own that we've had even close to as long are a painting of Snoopy I pulled out of someone's curbside trash, a red table we got off the side of the road, and some antique pottery and glassware of grandparents that hasn't been unboxed since the 90s.
Edit to add, view from my bed:
Ignore the dust/cobwebs. I do not dust like I should.
Honestly, as someone who's lacked dental care for 15 years, while it surprises me "street dentist" is a term, what surprises me the most is that I've never considered trying to find one. Lol. I've pulled my own teeth, why did I never consider finding a shady dude to do it for me?
