I can hear the picket line chants: "no stroking while on strike! No stroking while on strike!"
But in all seriousness, good for them! Unionize, and hole out for the full Monty!
We had those big red atlases (Atli?) with the glossy covers from over half the US states, and smaller maps for all the counties in Virginia, NC, SC, and about half of TN. Huge ass stack of em in both door panels, under each seat, and several on the back seat. My brother collected them whenever he could. I think he's still depressed he never finished his collection before giving up and finally getting a gps (only like 2 years before decent smart phone gps)
Is that "you" in the final sentence asking why I, dharmacurious, am against it, or a more general "why is anyone" against it?
I am absolutely for it. Like I said, I feel like medicare for all is already the compromise. I want a full NHS, with a complete and total ban on private insurance and healthcare. Including dental and everything else.
Oh, God, that would have been so much better. He was truly awful. Like, honestly, just the absolute worst. Tried to get me murdered once, too.
100% in agreement that we need universal healthcare. I'm one of those people that feel like medicare for all is already the compromise.
But I just want to mention that that's not all of what those in home care programs are. There's also a program (different names in different states, but normally called Choices) that allows for people to choose a care giver themselves, and essentially act as their employer for their care. That's how my mom is able to stay in her home, by employing me to care for her. It's not a perfect system, and it's rife with fucked up situations, but it's something that does need way more funding, and would also benefit from a universal healthcare system
Do you like Indian food? A ton of curries have both mustard and coconut in them. It's not prepared mustard like Frenches, it's the seeds, toasted in a pan, and then ground. It's amazing
I'm not sure I understand why "mustard free" would be listed, they should just be required to list all ingredients. Like the person above said "spices" isn't okay.
But that said, mustard is in most of my homemade soups. Once you discover the joys of toasted mustard seeds, you don't go back
Where is the second ant emoji? I want to see this not an ant!
I once had a "roommate"* for several months that did a ridiculously good Walken impersonation. Like, good enough that if you recorded it and played it back to back with a real Walken recording, it would be extremely difficult to tell them apart.
The problem was, he would do this constantly. Sometimes going days in end refusing to speak normally. I once overhear him dirty talking to himself while masturbating and using the voice. It was awful.
*Very long, funny-in-the-telling type of story that was genuinely fucking awful
Very curious how they're measuring speed....
Nope, up thread we figured out the correct form. Atlapodii.
