I don't share this view. Life is an interesting pattern created by matter, but no need to be spiritual about it. If life ceased to exist, no one would be sad about it. Actually a lot of struggle and pain would be over which is positive in my opinion. In practice, we should value quality of life of conscious beings instead of quantity. Having less is better.

What are you using for game dev?

Old paintings are valuable because people bought into it. Like nfts or crypto. They don't worth anything. Old people's baggage. Quit carrying it.

I blocked a lot of communities.

I imagine it like this: First we do the useful stuff as much as we can. But at some point it slows down and halts. Then with that knowledge doing useless stuff is easier. So we widen the search. Maybe most of them are really useless but few that can make a breakthrough is enough. Now back to useful stuff. This process is not discrete of course it's more dynamic and fluid. Does this make sense?
