that's not enough options tho. we can only pick a single thing from those drop-down lists, and we can't sort results in any way at all - most of those options in the last box are borked and give results from several days ago

yeh true. eg redditors are using lemmy to do stuff and kbin for surfing. at least i'm doing that simply because the feed loads up faster and has more content
