Or read it but if you feel it’s being too aggressive just (try to) ignore it. Don’t reply and feed into their arguments, no matter how right you may actually be.

Well, TIL it’s not a good idea to have passwords and 2FA in the same place. I use 1Password and have had almost all my 2FA’s in there since they added support for it.
Shameless self promotion of the page I just published earlier today including this information (along with other stuff). Though to be clear, this page is for Lemmy/Kbin/Tildes. Not the greater Fediverse.
Shameless self promotion of the page I just published earlier today including this information (along with other stuff). However, I didn't have Kmoon, so I will add that!
Oh. I didn't really realize that. But in looking at a few Magazines I follow, I only see content from my kbin.social instance, not any other instance. It's also possible that what you're saying is the intended functionality of kbin, but it might not be working yet since it isn't a mission critical feature.
IMO, this would solve the problem, while keeping the benefits of being decentralized. I could go to my “Community Group” called “Tech”, I could see all the aggregated results of Beehaw’s, kbin’s, etc, tech Communities.
Seems that so long as the attribution is in place the Postmill people aren't going to push it further. I (and I hope the community) appreciate your transparency and honesty. That's the sort of thing that makes me want to stick around here and support this project.
And for fun, I will check out those other sites, since I hadn't heard about Postmill/Raddle before.
Thanks, this is an analogy I realized last night after posting my question. Makes a lot of sense when out like that.
Thank you, this makes a lot of sense. Kinda what I figured, but wanted to make sure.
For real. I feel like I recall a browser extension doing something similar for Mastodon. But I don’t have the coding knowledge to adapt that to this use case.
I’ve literally just started watching this tonight. Seems interesting so far, curious to see what they do with it.
