Thanks for the input. Just to be sure I am understanding this correctly: By „Federated Feed“ you are talking about the „all“-Filter in the feed that shows posts from all communities on all federated instances?

I think it cannot help with the day night problem, like you described. Maybe solving the weather/cloud Problem is enough.
I think there are different microwave frequencies. As far as I know, „the microwave“ is using a special frequency, that is absorbed by the water in the food, which heats stehe for up. I think they would use an other frequency, so the radiation is not absorbed by clouds. So it should not harm birds. Planes might need to fly around the path of the rays. Should be possible with a fixed ground station.
Danke für den Tipp. Gartenschlauch liegt bereit. Will den die Tage auch noch an die Regentonne anschließen, damit die Wasserrechnung nicht durch die Decke geht.
Read on your own risk, but I try to be as vague as possible. And I think I am not spoiling a lot, because you will learn about it in the first few minutes of the game: You are trapped in a time loop and try to find out why it is happening and who caused it. You will follow clues that lead you through the whole star system where you will visit strange worlds and try to solve the riddle, each new time loop getting close to the solution. The riddles/mysteries are really great and integrate fantastically in the world.
I would like to describe it as the perfect mixture of death loop and Myst.
Outer Wilds really was a one of a time experience. Recently learned there actually is a DLC for the game. I am really looking forward to the experience and hope it comes close to the base game.
Yeah, exactly. I am at about 35 h into the game and so far I do not feel any kind of burnout coming. It is so satisfying to drive along your own roads and unlocking new blueprints from satisfied costumers. Hope this keeps going.
I would really like to see a community for all soulsborne games/fromsoft games. There are so many secrets hidden in these games that are nice to discover in posts and I like to read the posts speculating about the lore behind all the item texts etc.
Death Stranding. Was sceptic for a long time, if the concept of the game is for me and motivating enough to keep me playing. Picked it up during a sale recently and really got hooked. With not much time to game it is nice to deliver a few packages and be able to quit again. Story is so cryptic that it feels like it does not matter if you forget something after a week long break and the atmosphere of the game feels really nice.
I like this approach. Only downside I see is, that it makes communities on smaller instances kind of irrelevant unless they are specializing on a more exotic view on a subject (maybe a conservative take in politics vs a progressive view). Is this not creating a big concentration of „relevant“/big communities on the big instances? I get the feeling any @lemmy.ml or @beehaw.org are on a good way to be the standard/go to instances for communities.
