The open world survival game is no longer available for sale, but its servers are still up. So how bad is it?

In this episode, we were on location for a secret, not-yet-released video (guess where in the comments!) and decided to set up and film HW News. The news last week included a follow-up to the alleged NVIDIA RTX 4090 Dragon (and other cards) with the US Government telling NVIDIA, basically, to 'deal with it.' We also cover the Steam Deck OLED's problem with a noisy headphone jack, which we were able to successfully recreate on some devices when plugged in. There's some additional talk about a community fix to the noisy Steam Deck OLED headphone jack. We also cover ASUS Ally mods that are getting wild, the RTX 5880's existence, and AMD's RDNA 3 idle power draw fixes.

Bandai Namco has just announced that the PC demo for Tekken 8 will become available for download on December 21st.

This review & benchmark of the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7960X CPU tests it vs. the TR 7980X, Threadripper 7970X, and mainstream parts like the Ryzen R9 7950X & Intel i9-14900K. The Threadripper 7960X CPU is a 24-core part, putting it closer to the 7950X in core count, but still different in I/O capabilities. Aside from the I/O options though, the 7960X may provide value in heavily multi-threaded applications while still balancing "over-specing" the core count in scenarios where workloads can't fully scale-up to 32 cores or 64 cores. It also offers a price balance. Although still expensive at $1500, the 7960X is the "cheapest" Threadripper HEDT part in the current launch lineup.

Sony Music responsible for recently threatening to take radio streaming apps to court for streaming radio stations outside the UK under some false pretence.
They also couldnt give a crap about vinyl quality for their artists and have had entire reissues that were faulty and never repressed. They're seriously starting to piss me off recently. Going to donate to Archive.

Oh hang on. That was edited out here in the video/DVD release. It was a PG here in the UK

Edited that title. I try to just do a copy and paste but this was a bad title from the source.

To be honest this will be added with mods anyway. Theres alot added in the DLC that are/were from mods in CS1

This was in a time before open source alternatives.

Just to note all the problems I had with running corsairs software and needing to run it for peripherals. I was on Corsair before logitech and their software going from Corsair Link to Icue all had the same problem with its hardware monitoring which is based on CPUIDs hardware monitoring SDK. I spent years trying to find the problem and trying to bring it to Corsairs attention to which they ignored me to the point I took them to court for all the stuff I owned and they settled out of court. The software was shutting down my video output randomly from polling the gfx card too much. So now I avoid all peripherals or cooling that require software to be constantly running. My Loop which is the picture to PCGaming here > is all running without software and is controlled by the bios instead. So yea i dont recommend Corsair nor NZXT since their software also using that CPUID SDK

Luckily I have a G513 and a MX518 and dont need to run software for it but the minute that changes. Most of the peripherals are going. G29 , Yeti and Brio Webcam.

My biggest problem with unlocking the bootloader is that many apps look for an unlocked bootloader as "Its rooted" according to that app but unlocking the bootloader and being rooted is 2 different things. I only want to run a custom rom I dont want to root. But you end up having to do the whole thing and running Magisk to hide the root and unlocked bootloader.
