I work for a US company, make a salary that puts me in the top 1% of salaries in Canada , and live in an eastern Ontario town of 200 people. I would never move to the US.

Big tech companies are greedy. They would sell their grandmothers for a dollar. If they can make $0.99 instead of $1 they're going to wave their dicks settings and hope everyone just caves buy ultimately they aren't going to be willing to give up that $0.99.

I was waiting to self checkout at a Walmart where there are 4 of around a dozen self-checkouts working. I asked about the ones that were not working and the employee told me that they can only open 4 units for every employee present. In order to have all 12 open they need 3 people there.
