It's based on Chromium. Chromium is developed by Google and is the base of Chrome as well.

Chromium is FOSS though.

FYI spoiler tags don't work on the Jerboa app.

They should have used a subscription model where it doesn't work unless you have one.

Yep. The idea that Reddit Admin did this to nullify the blackout was suspect from the start. Why would it only be on r/AdviceAnimals? Lol

People are mad at Reddit right now and we're looking for any reason to confirm their bias and run away with their narrative.

I feel like there is a potential but minor problem with Lemmy's algorithm. It favors new comments but what if the post itself is asking a question with a definitive answer? The best answers might get buried by side discussion as time goes on.

Why is it only r/AdviceAnimals? Sounds like it's possibly just an internal conflict with the mods on that sub.

A lot of subs are back to public this morning.

Why are more people requesting their data now?

Star icon? I'm on Jerboa and I don't see such a thing.

If I click on your username I can see it in your profile though.

What instance are you on?

I can see both but I'm on lemmy.world.

This appears to be an issue with a user on lemmy.ca seeing a post on lemmy.world.

It would be a nice feature to be able to group communities into feeds.
