Right. That's why I said partly false. Perhaps, "not the whole truth" would be better working? By stating the cities vote left and leaving it at that implies they always vote left, when they don't. All I was saying. Thanks.

This is partly false. Edmonton and Calgary vote blue federal and usually orange for provincial. Results from the last federal election https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.6183209

Provincial - https://globalnews.ca/news/9633315/live-alberta-election-results-2023-vote/

Which I think has a lot to do with union and provincial government employees. But I'm just another stupid Albertan.

I don't know anything about how that stuff works. But considering it's on Steam and has no dedicated servers you choose and it's cross platform would it not have to talk to a lot of different servers simultaneously? Like, I can squad up with my buddies from the UK while I'm in Canada and also have someone on ps5 in the USA. None of them experience lag. Seems like it isn't your normal every day "net code" most other games would have to accomplish

Yes, that's when the show really dug in it's hooks and let you know this show is different and buckle in.

Final Space, nothing beats it for me. I'll be empty and hollow until Olan releases the graphic novel they're letting him license to finish off the story from season 3 since it was cancelled with one of the time warner mergers.

Vox Machina and Chernobyl(HBO) were close contenders though.

I'm well aware revenue and profit arent 1:1. You're "source" is a "Google person says they break even" in 2015. I give you graphs showing revenue growing at almost 4x the rate of users since 2015. Are they making 800% more profit, obviously not. But they sure as hell aren't losing money on YouTube anymore.

Typed "was google profitable in 2022". Took about 4 seconds.

https://ippei.com/is-youtube-still-profitable/

https://www.businessofapps.com/data/youtube-statistics/

Edit: as I'm not sure you'll look at the graphs. I want to point out that since 2015 the "what could they have done to turn a profit" question is answered in the graphs

Users increased about 225%

Revenue has increased 700-800%

Its very profitable.

You're only talking about one side of the coin. If the corps, owners, "the man", etc. Paid living wages tips wouldn't, in your opinion, "need" to exist. But since you aren't able to grasp the bigger picture I think we're done here. Have yourself a wonderful day.

They get paid. It's in this thread multiple times from multiple people. There's likely a special place for me in hell, I won't argue that. But I hope you have enough self reflection to realize corporate ball suckers like yourself also have a special place down there with me. Have a great day.

I said typical, as in average or stereotype. Was more a jab/joke than anything, but you do you. Again, it's not my responsibility to make up for shit pay. So instead of being mad at how fundamentally broken the system is, you're mad at people who don't tip a very specific industry/job. You're really something. Well done.

Typical American, grouping an entire nation into a personal opinion. Well done.

Not American. But even if I were, no I wouldn't tip. It's not my responsibility to pay someone's wage while the business opens up at another 2 locations in my city
