It's really amazing that NN:EE (Love that acronym BTW) is still getting worked on. I love seeing what comes out of a passionate community/developer

SO IT WASN'T JUST MY DUMBASS. Thank you, you have no idea how much better that makes me feel XD

Funnily enough, I figured it out really fast, like I GET IT, it was a very strange and wonky mechanic to suddenly hit players with, but i was immediately wiggling around the moment I got on it, trying to figure out what they wanted and noticed that I was bouncing a little more when I moved up and down. So kind of... like pure chance I got out alive lol

Slightly unfair to say, though. Hogwarts Legacy got a multiplatform release. TOTK only released on Switch.

Counter-point for fairness, It's impressive that TOTK got that many sales on it's own while being stuck on one platform!

Either way, 2023 was a good year for gaming. Lots of fun stuff got released and I hope we can keep this trend going.

Damn, you accidentally did a challenge run!

Yeah... I already wasn't a fan of where the series was going story and gameplay-wise, now I'm just gonna have to call it here. I think im gonna be taking a looooong break from Like a Dragon/Yakuza. I'm not gonna back this shitty behavior with my money. Even If this turns out to be a fun game, they're saying "Oh, the STORY is 100 hours by itself!" No way in HELL that is all forward progress and gripping tales. These games have fluff and filler in their normal ~20 hour stories. I'd just end up losing track of things and burning out well before any the end of the game.

Thank you so much! Wanna hear a secret? I am NOT an artist XD Im actually REALLY bad at graphical art like pixel art, but I was able to kind of cheese it in a way. When you load up Blockbench with the "New Minecraft Skin" thing, it makes a default example skin texture as an example.

Because of the low resolution of the texture, pixels are very noticeable, and from there, I just played with the brushes and gradients in different shades of brown for the fur and hair, and then I drew the clothes on top over my "fur" base.

A lot XD The main ones are a texture pack called DefaultPack Remastered, Plantlife, MoreBlocks, and X-Decor for all my building needs :)

I picked up Just Cause 2 after a long time of not playing it a little while ago and I had a bit of a realization....

I simultaneously get bored easily with and highly enjoy these games. Outposts and towns are incredibly repetitive, and those make up 90% of the game's runtime. It's not like that's all there is, and Just Cause 3 does have some other side diversions and new tools, but in the end, I'm just running, driving, and/or flying around a massive, largely empty, albeit pretty map.

It's incredibly mindless sometimes, and I never stick around too long, but there's also this call to it. It is mindless.

It's simple. I know where to go, what I'm gonna do. Im gonna see some pretty sights, big explosions, and I'm gonna zip around like a deranged Spider-Man. No deep planning or strategy, just spur-of-the-moment chaos. See a thing? Blow it up.

It's almost like candy. As long as I only come back and play it here and there, I will play it consistently.

Side note: On a certain level, exploring Just Cause's maps is pleasant in its own way. They are remarkably pretty and it kind of scratches an itch of just being able to GO. No real destination, no plan, just going.

A little while ago, I finally come out as trans to my friends. They've been wonderful, supportive, and encouraging. They were honestly the whole reason I finally was able to discover myself, especially my GF. But, and here's the key, I'm in a very delicate living situation, I'm pretty poor, and I can't reasonably just leave where I am and live somewhere else, not right now at least. Between the world and my rather transphobic family, I'm kind of stuck. I obviously can't get more feminine clothing, hair, ANY makeup of any sort, or anything I really want to try. I don't wanna make this a whole sob story or anything, so basically. Does anybody have some advice to FEEL more like a girl?
