I played the first years ago, I actually liked the art style it had and enjoyed it despite its many flaws. But I can't seem to get into this and I'm usually a sucker for the souls like genre.

What games can you recommend that didn't get the appreciation that they deserved? in c/games@lemmy.world

The ultimate anime waifu creator. I'd also recommend giving it a try for any souls fans out there. Also don't be ashamed if you look up a guide on the cathedral.
