Married 35 years. Met online in the 80s. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, just like any other method.

It's interesting to follow each line and see how time has affected it. I noted the "Work" line and how it goes up as women move into the workplace. Also how "Family", "Neighbor", and "Grade School" drop some as it became more normal for people to move away from their hometowns for careers or college.

You meet the person you decide to be with where you meet them. I don't know where your judgemental tone comes from, perhaps bad experiences or just some stereotype. If two people meet, find they're a good match, and the relationship works, why are some ways pathetic while presumably others are the "correct" way?

Ants, this is how you get them.

You know the many uplifting videos of past Presidents when something unusual happens in their gatherings? This is the antithesis of those, and shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. He's said as much before, he doesn't care about people, and he definitely isn't what Mr. Rogers would refer to as a "helper".

It is a big "caveat emptor" flag for sure. I had a bit more info on the car in question than a blind auction, and I'm experienced enough to work on my own stuff. Good additional point, it's not for everyone.

Or any recent administration, including the current one that could be contacted and complained to. Or honestly most any of the western world's leading powers. Yes, the US is a big problem because of their supplying arms, but when it comes to the meme of blinders on, they are not the only ones who are pretending this will fix itself.

Be wary of titles with salvage too from certain time periods. Salvage cars can work out depending on its situation. I had one that lasted years written off by the previous owner's insurance because of a bent frame that wasn't a big deal. Flood is no-go though, way too many things in modern cars that water immersion will damage in short and long term, and hard to detect until it fails.

I see this more as a loss of support for Trump, just like the many Republican endorsements for Harris. It doesn't change Stein's chances either way, and who supports someone is more a sign of how that person leans, not the candidate.

What will be interesting (but again, inconsequential) is how Stein will treat this. Ignore? Simple thanks? A rally to try and pull more of those who would follow him? (I think some will see where I'm going there)

This is an unfortunate tradition of having a Democrat governor but Republican for NC Congress and higher. It's no indicator of any potential. However, I do think we have another chance to do 2008 again, despite all the work the GOP has put into preventing more voters.
