OK so I did watch Rich Kids in the City... and I actually don't remember much about the show because it didn't impact me much (blasphemy, I know!). And I am aware of who Alex Jones is and have watched his downfall with much pleasure... and I am not lactose intolerant! So bring on the cheese!

I have no idea what this Rich Kids In the City is, or Loud Guy Radio, and I am not a sports fan, but I think I'd like to try some of that fried cheese!
I will not forget how Elon forced everyone but work visa immigrants (who didn't have their Green Cards yet) to stay at Twitter. As an immigrant (and now naturalized citizen) to Canada who also grew up in Dubai (where I was not a citizen either, despite being born there) I felt the pain of the precarious situation that they were. This also made me hate Elon far more than I did already.
There was no massive Jewish/Muslim conflict for a 1000 years in the region. The biggest massacre in the region against the Jews was probably the Siege of Jerusalem by the Crusaders in 1099, albiet exact numbers are not available. The crusaders killed everyone in the city with a death toll as low as 3000 to as high as 70000. This includes all Muslims, Jews, and Christians.
When I tried to look at the pogroms done against Jews in the Levant the history is actually remarkably scant. While they did happen, my impression based on just reading the wiki article was that they were caught up in larger conflicts in the region and it wasn't a deliberate targetting in the same way the Tsar's cossacks targetted Jews. And in all those cases the dominant power always came to their rescue and compensated them for the damages done by their persecutors. Also it appears that the worst perps weren't Muslims, but Druze (who are not Muslims).
In short, Trump is not only highly dishonest, but also a worthless shitbag who has been struggling his entire life to enshittify the world we all live in. He is worse than Bezos or Zuckerberg, because at least Amazon is a decent shopping platform, and Zuckerberg's facebook helped many people (myself included) to reconnect with childhood friends that I thought I would never speak to again).
But there is a lot of water in Lebanon. Israel wants that.
And the Afghans have had music and art since forever, well after their conversion to Islam. The taliban are freaks.
Except historically the arts flourished under Islamic rule. While Islam does have an anti icon streaks it was never enforced save for the depiction of the prophet Mohammad.
What is just so nuts is how much of an outlier and how incredibly new the bullshit the Taliban is doing, yet there are people who insist that all Muslims are copies of them...

If you went 100 years back in time and told people that school teachers would be dead broke despite making the best financial decisions possible and be nearly homeless despite working long hours they would be fucking shocked.
Being a school teacher, even one for elementary school kids, in the late 19th century was not only a respectable profession, but also decently paid. I think Horrible Histories said that the average school teacher in the 1880s and 1890s in the UK made around 60 pounds sterling a year, which was a fairly decent wage at the time.
