We do; I see them every year. Whether I'm travelling or just trying not to be sick (which costs me money since I don't get paid sick leave), knowing what is "out there" is pretty useful information. By the time flu vaccines start rolling out there's usually a round of articles on what the tri/quadvalent covers and the severity anticipated based on worldwide transmissions.

A substantial fraction of their base is his cult now, and the Republicans know that they cannot win without his support. Ultimately they will bow to his will because the parts of the party which have not been utterly brainwashed realize that it is currently their only path to victory, no matter how distasteful that is.
And/or verifying that the posts came from his personal device (IP/identifier) so it can't be blamed on the intern or coffee boy.
