I use you.com as it's centered on an ai chatbot and pulls in traditional web search results to augment it's answers. it works quite well.

IMO if you wanna say "this" then write something more than that to elaborate upon it.

IMO: upvote = relevant comment in the thread. boost = I want to share this with my followers.

I don't actually know how boost effects a comment?

unfortunately true. it would be nice to avoid though

downvoting for disagreement. people on reddit treat upvotes/downvotes as agree/disagree, when they really should be used to promote thoughtful and good content, not necessarily what you agree with. If you think someone is participating in a thread properly, and promoting and inviting discussion and making the place better (even if you disagree with them) you should upvote instead.

reddit all too often let "lazy" comments float to the top because they were agreeable with the masses, but low effort.

I have no idea how to type emojis on my windows laptop lol. so whenever I use them I gotta copy+paste. On discord they have shortcodes for them :emojiname: and on twitter there's an emoji picker. no idea how to do it elsewhere...

I can't recall why I had originally installed violentmonkey lol but I've had it forever. I have a lot of userscripts I run so if I switch I'd want to make sure my scripts still run on the new extension @.@

oh that's what I'm using lol. violentmonkey 2.14 on firefox.

tried installing it but... it doesn't seem to actually switch the content when I select something from the dropdown.

I don't think mobile browsers support userscripts/extensions unfortunately.
