Just did my former friends earlier this year.

Life is life. Gets crazy and we don’t work together anymore so we don’t get much time to hang out.

He blew up on me about me never reaching out but like when? And I apologized and said I would try to make a better effort to reach out.

After about an hour, he never texted me back and I realized that the last message sent before he blew up on me was me reaching out to him a few weeks prior and he never responded! So like wtf dude.

So then he or his wife said something and I never responded and they texted me a few times for a few days after but I never replied, let alone read the messages.

I was already on the edge about them anyway. They had a problem with everyone. Everyone eventually had a problem with them and it makes me feel like they’re likely the problem people in their various situations. They were very strict about things and it just never felt right with me.

I gave them my car that I was no longer using and they were super appreciative which is how we became friends, but I honestly was just trying to be nice. I wasn’t really looking for friends.

Idk. I feel bad about it sometimes but I also feel like it was long overdue for us to no longer be friends anymore.

People hateeddddd it lol. I really enjoyed it.

It was one of those games where you could play against bots offline but it was meant to be played online. There was no campaign or real story to it. And it was a first person shooter.

But I wasn’t aware of the original so I didn’t know what to expect like others.

If it counts, Shadowrun on Xbox 360, that remake multiplayer game.

If not, it was probably Deus Ex Human Revolution.

I didn’t really know about the cyberpunk genre until years later but DEHR was a blast.

I am and yes that helped a ton!

All of my banks even my small credit union let me lock the cards and also order new ones in the app and one updated my cards in Apple Pay so I could have a card in the meantime through Apple Pay. Very helpful for the places that accept it.

It is possible but it needs people to develop the OS for each brand of TV and jailbreak the TVs to run another OS.

Most TVs are like phones in that they have a locked down system and their bootloader/BIOS/UEFI is also locked down which is what ultimately needs to be unlocked to allow another OS to be installed.

Why there isn’t?

Just not really many developers interested in creating an OS for it. Probably because of so many different brands and models of TVs that would require lots of work since each one is pretty different from another.

The auto closing is driving me insane.

I have 3 different computers I use on a daily and each of them encounter this issue multiple times each week. A meeting starts and I have to go start up Teams and wait for it to fully open to join the call. Or I have someone cold call me and I don’t get the call on my computer and won’t even after opening Teams.

They can do a full refresh and release new features to make it look pretty but nothing has been done to address this issue that has been ongoing since day 1 of this “new Teams” refresh.

I believe they will never allow users to delete entire chats like that because it will cause mass panic for users and managers, particularly. You already have users doing dumb shit like deleting files accidentally. And more than that, you’ll have managers getting upset that users may be doing it on purpose like “omg I never saw that message! 😱 “

Deleting your own stuff is easy and okayed because it’s not an easy process and it involves multiple steps.

I mute them unless I’m interested.

Most ads are obnoxious and feel like I’m getting a headache listening to the same repetitive, obnoxious voices/music.

Absolutely brutal… sounds like she also strangled him and bit him and struck him multiple times to ensure he was dead.

Showing off your badass karate moves in the MRI room is strictly forbidden.

It’s really crafty and nasty. And it also allows users to go through the process without requiring admin access.

We needed to stay on Windows 10 for a few reasons at work. I had a few users tell me this or that broke and they could no longer use this function. Remoted on and found the computer was somehow updated to Windows 11. Users swore it was not their doing. I know what happened; it’s an update screen that has a decline at the very bottom corner far from the button to allow the update to proceed that most users don’t see so they are being intentionally misled by Microsoft to think they have no choice but to accept the update. And worse is that none of these users were admins. So what the fuck, Microsoft?!

It’s so infuriating and disgusting.

Thankfully we can now move to Windows 11 without issue, but that was a really frustrating time to be an admin and Microsoft deserves every bad thing that comes of users getting upset over this. Hopefully lawsuits to lose some money over it.

I sometimes see clips pop up on YouTube shorts of Trudeau and Poilievre arguing back and forth but their focus doesn’t seem to be on each other but looking in the same direction, occasionally looking at the other when taking a shot.

Me as a non-Canadian, I’m not familiar with this. What exactly are they doing and who are they directing these to? Is it one person or many others or is it to be in general to the Canadian population?

I went and saw The Wild Robot over the weekend without knowing a single thing about it and ended up enjoying the movie a lot. I truly think part of that was not knowing anything about the movie except seeing the poster, knowing the title, seeing the rating, and knowing it was for kids and was animated (which was evident by the poster and rating). Beyond that, I was clueless. I didn’t even know if the robot would talk or not. The story unfolding out for me entirely was nice to experience.

I won’t ruin any parts of the movie for anyone who may be in my position too, but if you’re into animated kids movies with a hint of sci-fi, you’ll probably like this movie.

I only became aware of this movie as I was checking on times for Alien Romulus and saw this instead. My girlfriend’s son is obsessed with robots so I knew this was likely a movie he’d like to see.

The only place where I’m bombarded with ads anymore is on YouTube on my phone and TV where my adblockers don’t work. So I had never had this movie advertised to me in the usual way others have been.

With the way YouTube ads work, I usually get bombarded with the same repetitive trailers that make the movie obnoxious to me after seeing the same trailer for the 100th time. And it seems that the theme over the past few decades is to spoil parts of the movie in the trailer. Like one of the trailers for Dogman that was shown before The Wild Robot in the theaters tells us how Dogman becomes Dogman… Being for kids, I’m sure it doesn’t matter and it’s not the focal point of the movie, but like, I would have preferred to find that out when watching the movie, not beforehand.

Speaking of Alien Romulus, I’m a fan of the Alien movies but the trailer before Deadpool 3 showed soooo many of the crew’s deaths that it really spoiled the movie. Part of my thrill of the Alien movies for me is finding out who survives from the crew of each movie. But not this one… which is why I still haven’t seen it. I just felt really unmotivated to go see it when it released last month and I didn’t see it this weekend because I’m okay with waiting for it to release for home and maybe I’ll forget what I saw in the trailer by then.

But The Wild Robot was exciting and very enjoyable and I think a lot of that had to do with the fact I knew very little.

I know that a lot of people share the same sentiment about trailers spoiling the movie, but my unpopular opinion is that I don’t want to see anything about it beforehand, in most cases. Give me a poster, title, rating, and I can figure out the rest as to whether I’d like to watch it or not.

This is not to say that movies should never have a trailer of any kind. No, far from it. Just don’t advertise the trailer so repetitively and even more than that, make the trailer available for watching on demand. If I am interested but still on the fence because your poster or title didn’t convey enough, then I can go searching for the trailer on a site like YouTube and watch it for myself.

Talking about those artists who are world famous and always have their treasured instrument(s) like Willie Nelson and his “Trigger” guitar.

Where do these artists typically store their instruments when not performing? If on tour, do they keep it on the bus or in their room?

I know everyone is different, but just wondering about some examples and/or the general places they’d keep them.

Hey all,

I upgraded to iOS 18 yesterday, so wondering if this is possibly due to that or something on the Voyager app’s side.

I’ve noticed today that if I’m on my profile’s page, or viewing a specific post, or browsing a specific community, and then I leave the Voyager app for a time to go to another app or the iPhone’s “desktop” and then come back to Voyager, Voyager will do a refresh and then go to the main page, which I have set to show All. It also refreshes the All feed whereas before it would stay where I left it when browsing All.

Is this a new update or did iOS 18 implement something that is causing this? Anything that can be done to not allow this to happen?

Thank you!
