The insanity of believing someone cares which fruit you prefer is just accepted as the “normal” part of the meme here, and that’s pretty interesting to me as someone who didn’t have the internet in their home until high school.

Yeah. I should clarify I wasn’t trying to say you’re doing a disservice with your post. This is kind of a model of what we could expect, and I like it.
We are social animals. If I strongly believe something won’t happen and I share it with people who value my opinion, it spreads. People also don’t want to be on the wrong side of the mob.
A perfect example of this is a site like this. If I was to get downvoted a lot, the chances anyone would come to my aid shrink exponentially. Even if I made a statement that all those people held as strong beliefs, the best I could hope for is to be left alone.
People think we’re not connected, but I don’t exist if you aren’t here to not be me. I could go on but I’m losing the track I think.
Do not bite a modern nazi. Their soft exterior easily preserves bite marks and they are far more likely to live in a state where bite mark evidence is considered scientific.

Tough question to answer without sounding either too callous or too hippy-dippy.
If you’re not enjoying life why would you fear death? Why are you clinging so hard to life that it prevents you from living?
I used to be pretty depressed. Now I’m just kinda depressed sometimes.
The only thing that works for me is doing things. Sometimes I like them. Sometimes I don’t. I try to do more of the ones I like. I try not to judge things I am going to do before I’m doing them.
I have fully internalized that I will die and I personally believe that’s the end. Might be wrong, don’t care either way. All you can do is deal with now. I don’t want to leave my family behind but I will someday. It will be sad for them. It makes me a little sad to think about. But it’s unavoidable. I could die tomorrow. I could die at 90. You don’t get to know when in most cases. So I try not to worry about what I can’t control.
If you’re young, things smooth out as you age.
The one thing I have to stress is that you will not overcome anything on the internet. You have to do stuff to have anything to talk about, at bare minimum. A lot of people today confuse having an opinion for having a personality. I’d rather hang out with someone who wants to talk about their passions than someone who wants to trash a movie or a celebrity or some other thing they wouldn’t like even if it was made specifically for them.
If Linux was dominant it wouldn’t be Linux. There would be more pressure to monetize and there would always be someone willing to sell out for that money. You can see this even in the Linux community today. I’m sorry I had to be so negative about it though, it sounds nice.
