I usually do rotational more honestly. But that being said I have a handful of single or married/no kids Sims. They usually become my trouble makers or my really good Sims. They're either destroying marriages and causing all my drama or, they're very into something whether it's their lifetime wants or doing something for the community or something.
That being said, I find the children usually boring to play. I generally only leave them in baby/toddler/child life stages for a day or two before I age them up. Tend are ok.
I forgot to come back here and mention you inspired me to open a Sims2Help on kbin!
Direct linking isn't working I'm sorry.
Thanks direct links are weird on kbin
If anyone from that sub was a mod and would like to join as a mod, that would be really cool.

My son is a loser and I don’t know what to do??
My teenage son(Ryan) will skip school and spend all day on the computer scrolling through social media, trolling forums, talking to strangers, and playing video games. I tried taking his computer away, but then he’ll runaway to the library and stay there for days just to be on the computer. It’s gotten so bad that sometimes he’ll use the bathroom in his room and won’t shower for days just so he can continue to play on his computer.
I talked to my husband multiple times in regards to this issue, but he doesn’t find anything wrong with it. He said I’m acting “neurotic” and it’s just my anxiety that’s making me feel this way. I told him that I think Ryan is a loser with no friends, and should join an after school club, but my husband disagreed because he thinks our son is preparing for a career in technology.
To get Ryan out of the house I told him to go to karaoke night with the neighbor kid. Apparently while Ryan was singing, the neighbor and his friends started booing and heckling him! Ryan was embarrassed and biked all the way home in the rain and stayed in his room for days refusing to talk to anyone.
I’m a surgeon so it’s hard for me to spend quality time with my family because I’m on call 24/7. Anytime I plan something with my family I always have to leave to go to work. There was a time on Ryan’s birthday I took him to the movies and during the previews I had to leave because of work, and he spent his birthday playing on the computer. I should’ve never taken this surgeon position because I had a great family life before as a bed cleaner! but I thought the extra money would bring us together, but it just brought more harm than good. What should I do to help him??
Shamelessly stolen from that other website original here.

AITA for divorcing my wife after only 1 day of marriage?
I (21M) have known my now ex-wife (21F) since we were children, as we lived next door to each other our whole lives. We started dating in high school, and moved into a city apartment together when we turned 20. Not to be dramatic, but she is the love of my life.
She recently found out she was pregnant, and in all the excitement I decided to propose to her. We didn't have enough money for a proper wedding ceremony, so we just invited our families to a wedding venue and got married without any ceremony.
A day after the wedding, we decided to travel to the Romance Festival to collect some dragonfruit, but while we were there, I caught my wife flirting with a random man. I couldn't believe she would do that, but before I knew it I was yelling at her and implying her mother was a llama.
Our argument escalated, and suddenly, she divorced me! I was devastated, and mere hours later she had packed up her stuff and moved back in with her parents. (Thankfully she didn't take our cat, too.)
The next day, she gave birth to our baby (a beautiful healthy boy), and immediately moved the baby in with me and hasn't visited the apartment since he was born.
I still love my ex-wife, and I want our son to grow up with both his parents, but I can't believe she flirted with another man randomly. AITA in this situation?

AITL/AITA for selling a pool ladder to pay the bills?
I(F,A) was living with my girlfriend(F,A) and our son(M,T) and the bills were coming up.
We were a little short on money and I didn't want the repo man to show up so I sold the ladder to our swimming pool - I didn't know, however, that my girlfriend was swimming in the pool at the time until I saw Grim show up.
My son says I murdered her for life insurance and won't talk to me out of disgust. However, I told him that we don't actually have a life insurance mod, so I don't know how I could have done that.
AITA for selling the pool ladder and ACCIDENTALLY killing my girlfriend?
I know you already found my community but I forgot to come back and link it for everyone else
