The fact that this game launched years ago, and still gets meaningful updates PLUS expanded multiplayer and modding is insane.

More games need to be like this

It’s really that simple. I feel like since Activision got involved their quality just tanked. I don’t have proof of this but I just haven’t seen great stuff since they came in.

Overwatch 2 successfully made me stop caring about live service games. What is blizzard doing with all that money if it’s not going into the “blizzard polish”?

Better way to get scammed. I never see big winners from Crypto. Money doesn't just come out of nowhere, its like stocks someone pays eventually.

Capitalism. While the average person is frustrated over their grocery bills being 2x, the corporate ghouls are trying to milk as much money as they can. Not to mention I believe they pulled out their shares before the decision was made so it seems like they were trying to just cash out before shit hit the fan.

Everything is being run on borrowed money, even major studios like Marvel or Blizzard take injections and answer to share holders / venture capital, instead of just making a better product.

I always found it kinda funny how gamers rage about the poor quality of games, but bugs with Bethesda is almost an expectation

Thank you, I wasn't sure if I was just getting impatient with websites and not appreciating how far we've come since DSL. It's made sense in my head but it always felt like a mildy dumb question

I grew up during the dial up era of internet and remember how insane it was each time the technology improved, broadband, dsl, fiber etc.

I wouldn't expect pages to instantly load, but I have to imagine all the data farming is causing sites to be extremely bogged down.
